After a few weeks of playing around with a Drupal-based tool, the new Philippine Reader is hitting the internet.

This is a personal project. To get to know Drupal more, I thought of maintaining a news site which has the following simple features:

1. Contributors can create account and post contents. Editors though will have to review if they can be posted on the frontpage.

2. Demonstrate drupal functions using this site.

3. Soon, a payment system will be integrated.

4. My grand aim? Put up a portal of contents from and about the Philippines and make it easier for researchers to find them. See xxx.lanl.gov
